The Florida Education Funders includes any FPN members who are currently providing funding for or have an interest in education in the state. Funders support the range of students from early learning through post-secondary success and are looking to connect with and learn from others in the space. Florida Education Funders meet periodically throughout the year, both in person and virtually (the current year schedule is attached to this post).
The funders are led by the Guiding Statement: Florida Education Funders will support a culture of high expectations for all students, in and out of school, from early childhood through postsecondary education, leading to career success.
The Florida Education Funders Roles are
- Provide a learning agenda on Florida-specific issues aligned with education funders’ goals.
- Work on a shared advocacy agenda.
- Network, potentially leading to deeper programmatic learning & funding collaborations.
