Florida’s Landscape for Students with Disabilities: Secondary Education, Economic Impact, Entering Postsecondary and the Workforce.

Join to learn more about how Florida is supporting students with disabilities as they exit high school and enter the workforce pipeline.  Highlights will include:

  • New Florida specific data on career pathways for students with disabilities
  • How the current workforce and employment landscape has created unique opportunities to expand employment among people with disabilities
  • Successful models that assist students with disabilities entering into Florida’s talent pipeline
  • How philanthropy can be a catalyst for workforce development for students with disabilities

The Able Trust has been a statewide leader in disability employment for over 30 years. Created by the Florida Legislature to serve as the Foundation for Vocational Rehabilitation, the organization works closely with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to support Floridians with disabilities as they enter the workforce.
