Tracking Outcomes in GIFTS Use custom fields, online
forms and more to track the outcomes of your grants in GIFTS. Know
the status of your "portfolio" and which grantees are likely to be
successful so that you can make informed decisions about your
grant dollars. |
Configuring Data Grids for Custom Reports in FIMS Data
grids are the best thing that have ever happened to FIMS! They are
an incredible tool for managing your data, allowing you to
customize the fields you want to see and do ad hoc reporting.
Filter your data grids to see only the records you’re interested
in. For example, a profile view that only shows you important
prospects or donors; fund module view with both gifts and grants
on one screen; unposted gifts with donor address; gift or grant
history view with fund detail so you can look up by fund; view of
just your own contacts with expanded comment field; an unposted
application view that shows you only applications you select based
on batch or program officer; a grant conditions view that you can
export from the grid for reminders. Once your view is created, run
reports and exports; do mass emailing or create labels; or create
contacts, tickles and/or affiliation codes right from the view. |
